About ECU:  Michael Perry, who has been an ECU assistant for 10 seasons, has been guiding the team since the last week of January after coach Jeff Lebo underwent hip surgery…In Sunday's regular season finale loss to Houston, Jeremy Sheppard scored a team-high 12 points…The Pirates shot 16 for 50 from the field, 5 for 21 from three point range and 14 for 22 from the foul line… Sheppard had three assists, giving him 98 and setting a school record for most assists by a freshman in a season, breaking the old mark of 97 set by Japhet McNeil in 2003-2004….With 92 blocked shots, Andre Washington now owns the single season ECU record…Nobody scored in double figures in ECU's loss this season at Temple, with Kentrell Barkley totaling a team-high nine points… Barkley had 19 points and 13 rebounds in this year's win over Temple…Sheppard earned a spot on the ACC All-Rookie Team.

About Temple: The Owls had a team-high 16 steals and shot 11 for 25 (44 percent) from three-point range in Sunday's win at South Florida…It was the first time Temple had at least 15 steals since a 15-steal effort on Nov. 16, 2008 in a xx over Clemson…Against USF, Daniel Dingle had 17 points and Obi Enechionyia had 14 points, seven rebounds and five steals and hit 4 of 8 from beyond the arc…In Temple's win this season over ECU, Dingle led five double-figure scorers with 19 points…The Owls shot 65.4 percent in the second half (17-26) while outscoring ECU, 41-28…Temple was outscored 41-26 in the second half of its 78-64 loss at ECU…Mark Williams led Temple with 15 points in the loss…Temple's Quinton Rose was named to the AAC All-Rookie Team.
