La Salle junior forward B.J. Johnson announced Thursday that he will declare for the NBA Draft, but won't hire an agent.

La Salle junior forward B.J. Johnson announced Thursday that he will declare for the NBA draft, but won't hire an agent.

"My goal is to play the game I love professionally," Johnson said in a statement issued by the school. "This decision will give me the opportunity to test myself, better myself and receive important feedback in pursuit of this goal."

The son of past Explorers great Bobby Johnson, B.J. led La Salle in points (17.6 points) and rebounds (6.3) per game this season.
