Penn State defensive tackle Anthony Zettel has asked an NFL committee that assesses college prospects to evaluate his chances to be taken in the league draft, PennLive.com reported Sunday.
However, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound redshirt junior said he has "no intent right now" of leaving school early.
Zettel said people he spoke with told him an evaluation from the NFL's College Advisory Committee would be a smart decision, he told PennLive.
"I talked to a lot of really smart people and stuff, and they said, 'That's a good decision to make,'" he said. "So I did that and I'm waiting to (hear) back."
Zettel made first-team All-Big Ten this season. He led Penn State with 15 tackles for loss and eight sacks, and tied for first in interceptions with three.
