Kerri-Lee Halkett's catch

Fox29's Kerri-Lee Halkett reels in a hotshot environmental activist to Philly.

We should all be as impassioned about the environment as Fox29's Kerri-Lee Halkett. She's been making many weekend journeys to Connecticut, and it's because of Kirt Mayland, a rugged, outdoorsy type and former Fulbright scholar who gave up a career as a Wall Street attorney to save the fish with a group called Trout Unlimited. They met through a friend of hers who went to Dartmouth with Mayland. While neither is talking about their relationship, a friend says Mayland is moving here -- buying his own place. So happens, the Hartford Courant just profiled Mayland in a video piece about preserving habitats for brook trout. See it here. Perhaps she'll bring him along to the Emmys Saturday night. Bet they don't order the fish for dinner.
