Indulge in a savory treat at Blue Moon Acres in Pennington, NJ when attendees to this 4 p.m. cheese tasting event can mingle with representatives from Cherry Grove Farm, where the cheese was produced. Recipe demonstrations featuring farm-fresh ingredients and complimentary beverages will also be included.

Since the weather seems to always be in flux, come discuss it in great lengths at the Chemical Heritage Foundation where scientists and meteorologists will lead the conversation, which begins at 5 p.m. This is also a Philly Science Festival event, so you're killing two birds with one socialite stone.

Art in the Age is hosting Philadelphia-based Search + Rescue Squad, a group that creates original photography, apparel and art for a launch party starting at 6 p.m. They'll be serving complimentary cocktails and presenting a collection of repurposed goods from Search + Rescue Squad.

Muscle cars, rat rods and more will be on display courtesy of the Iron Rebels Car Club First Friday at Friends and Nemesis at 6 p.m. Drinks will be served as well.

Learn the art of indoor gardening and listen to University of the Arts students perform on bucket drums at the Barnes Foundation's first Friday shindig. It all begins at 6 p.m. and each short lecture "Indoor Plans—Secrets to Their Success" and "Inside the Barnes Residence" are set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

As far as art openings go, here's what we've got going on: artist James Enders will premiere new work at Jules Goldman Books and Antiques starting at 7 p.m., "Consider again. That dot. That's home. That's here. That's us." by Adam Lovitz and Patrick Maguire opens at Space 1026 at 7 p.m., Little Berlin hosts the opening of INTERFACE, an interactive exhibit at 7 p.m. and Vice Coffee, Tattoos and Books has work from Luci Morreale of Ladderback Design and Brian Jerome at 7:30 p.m. for their "Hers/His" series.

Sit back and relax at the Knights of Columbus Council 1333 in West Chester, PA for Uptown! Entertainment Alliance's First Friday Film Series. This month at 8:30 p.m. they'll screen Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
