Business People on the Move: Aqua America Inc. hires HR director

The water utility Aqua America Inc., Bryn Mawr, has hired Patricia Tuso as director, human resources. She had been director, human resources, at UGI Inc. and Precyse Solutions L.L.C.

The water utility Aqua America Inc., Bryn Mawr, has hired Patricia Tuso as director, human resources. She had been director, human resources, at UGI Inc. and Precyse Solutions L.L.C.

Victoria E. Elliott has been appointed director of development for the department of institutional advancement at the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia. She had been executive director of the American Neurological Association working through Association Headquarters, a professional-services firm specializing in the management of nonprofit trade and professional organizations.

Triumph Group Inc., a Berwyn-based aircraft-parts maker and service conglomerate, has named MaryLou Thomas executive vice president of its Aerospace Structures business unit, one of the company's four market-based business units. Thomas, who began her career in the Air Force, had been corporate vice president-composites, structures, and interiors. Since April, she has served as acting executive vice president, Aerospace Structures.

The Malvern-based food service management firm Brock & Co. has hired David Grant as vice president of operations. Grant had been region manager for Aramark Corp.

Bryn Mawr Bank Corp., parent of Bryn Mawr Trust Co., has appointed Raymond Tuck vice president and market area manager, based in the firm's East Norriton branch. He had been branch manager II at Santander Bank in Blue Bell.

Citrin Cooperman has promoted Brett Dubin to partner and Sallie Wilmot to director in the CPA firm's Philadelphia office.

Philadelphia University has named Henry Humphreys dean of students. Humphreys most recently served as senior associate dean of students at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld L.L.C., Conshohocken, has added partners Marc E. Hirschfield and Marc Skapof in its New York office. Both came from Baker & Hostetler L.L.P., where Hirschfield was a partner and Skapof, counsel.

Williams Family Law P.C., Doylestown, has hired Melanie J. Wender as an associate. She had been an associate with Cooley & Handy Attorneys at Law P.L.L.C.

Ruth Lefton has been appointed chief operating officer for Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia. Lefton has been part of Einstein Healthcare Network for more than 20 years, having served as chief operating officer for MossRehab, Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park, and Willowcrest for the last 14 years. Prior to that, she was assistant vice president for MossRehab.

Stephanie K. Benecchi has been hired as an associate in the Philadelphia office of Montgomery McCracken. She had been an associate with the commercial-litigation firm Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman L.L.P. in New York.

Patricia Leung has joined Holy Redeemer Health System as part of Holy Redeemer Surgical Associates as a general surgeon. She completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Provident Bank, Iselin, N.J., has named Suk W. Chang senior vice president of commercial lending in a recently opened office in Wayne. Chang had been a senior relationship manager at TD Bank.

The real estate developer Southern Land Co. has hired Jana Pecenkova as general manager of its luxury multifamily high-rise at 3601 Market in University City. Pecenkova had worked for the Philadelphia-based Eagle Rock Management as the senior community manager at Chestnut Hill Tower Apartments. Angela Terrigno has been hired as leasing specialist. She had served in that role with Jersey Central Management in Lakewood.

David Gutheil has been hired as senior vice president, strategic marketing, at Delaware Investments, Philadelphia. He had been senior vice president and head of product management at Neuberger Berman.

Chris Reif has been hired as executive creative director of Armor, a Philadelphia-based digital agency. He served as senior vice president, creative and innovation, at Allen & Gerritsen in Philadelphia, which he cofounded in his South Philadelphia basement.

1847Financial, Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co.'s Philadelphia-based agency, has announced that it has partnered with Adam Sherman and that he will take the role of senior partner. Sherman had been CEO of Philadelphia-based Firstrust Financial Resources.

Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Secretary John Wetzel has appointed Marirosa Lamas as superintendent of the State Correctional Institution at Chester, Delaware County. Lamas replaces John Thomas, who was appointed deputy superintendent for centralized services at SCI Huntingdon. Lamas previously served as a counselor and unit manager at SCI Camp Hill.

West Philadelphia Alliance for Children, a nonprofit organization helping to bridge the literacy gap in Philadelphia public school students by reopening and operating volunteer-run school libraries, has appointed Heather Farber executive director. She had been managing director, NRG Retail Northeast at NRG Energy.

Fox Rothschild L.L.P. has hired attorneys Ian M. Comisky and Matthew D. Lee in the white-collar compliance and defense practice in the firm's Philadelphia office. Comisky is the former chair of the white-collar group at Blank Rome. Lee is a former U.S. Department of Justice trial attorney. Comisky and Lee both served as partners at Blank Rome.

Tompkins VIST Bank, Wyomissing, has hired Frank Strunk as commercial lending relationship manager. He had been senior vice president and commercial business team leader at National Penn Bank.

Mark Miller has been promoted to director of client services for Planisware, Trevose. He had been a consultant at Level 2.
