West Chester School District pays $3.5M for administrative offices
The West Chester Area School District has acquired a 42,000-square-foot building in an Exton office park to accommodate its administrative offices, according to commercial real estate firm Lieberman Earley & Co., which helped broker the deal.
The school district bought the 7 Whiteland Plaza office building at 782 Springdale Dr. in the Whiteland Business campus for $3.5 million from an entity called Seven Whiteland Plaza Associates, Lieberman Earley said in a release on Monday.
The district is relocating from its Spellman Administration Building at 829 Paoli Pike, which was determined to be in need of about $5.7 million in repairs and maintenance, it said on its website. It plans to move in 2017.
