Testimony ended today in former State Sen. Vincent J. Fumo's corruption trial as the case moved closer to its end.
The last witness was defense lawyer Robert Scandone, who, like famed attorney Richard A. Sprague,
refuted Fumo's claim they told him he could have his employees delete email while a federal investigation was under way because he had not yet received a subpoena.
The trial is about to enter its fifth month. Closing arguments are expected next week in the trial before U.S. District Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter.
