Horses killed in Bucks barn fire

Two horses were killed in a fire that raged through a barn in Solebury Township overnight, police said.

Several chickens also were killed, police said, but no injuries to humans were reported.

Firefighters reported heavy fire when they responded to the blaze around 4 a.m. on the 6500 block of Sawmill Road.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
