Police ID man handcuffed, killed in Point Breeze
Police on Tuesday identified a man who was handcuffed and fatally shot Monday inside a Point Breeze home as Ryan Ford, 30.
Police on Tuesday identified a man who was handcuffed and fatally shot Monday inside a Point Breeze home as Ryan Ford, 30.
Ford lived inside the home where he was killed on the 2200 block of Greenwich Street.
It was about 8:10 a.m. Monday when police found Ford handcuffed and shot multiple times in a front bedroom, police said.
Medics took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about half an hour later.
Police said the shooter or shooters fled in a red Dodge Charger with tinted windows and large chrome rims. The car was last seen traveling north on 22nd Street. Police said no arrest has been made and they are not aware of the motive in the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334, or 911. As with all homicides, there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
