Bobby Mansure is undertaking the pre-Memorial Day walk to benefit the Adam C. Conboy Memorial Fund. Conboy, a U.S. Marine from Roxborough, was 21 when he was killed in Iraq in 2006. His mother, Mary Conboy Warner, established "Operation Bedding" to provide troops with everyday items such as packets of Gatorade, sweat socks, clean sheets, bandanas and cans of tuna.

The walk starts from the KYW3 Studio and ends Saturday night in Avalon. For more information or to make a pledge, go to www.adamconboymemorialfund.org.
