A Glassboro man arrested as he allegedly arranged the sale of high-powered weapons to an undercover trooper has been identified as Horace Dixon, 50.

Police in the meantime have been removing a cache of weapons from Dixon's Franklin Road home.

Dixon's arerst at noontime yesterday at a Delsea Drive bowling alley parking lot was the culmination of a monthlong sting operation, said Sgt. Stephen Jones, police spokesman.

As police and other agents attempted to take Dixon into custody, he rammed his car into an undercover police vehicle, Jones said. No troopers were injured.

Troopers previously purchased illegal assault weapons with high-capacity magazines and various other guns from Dixon, whose home was later searched by a task force of troopers, ATF agents, and a bomb squad.
