At least 33 people were forced from their homes by fires in Philadelphia over the New Year's Day weekend, the American Red Cross says.
The agency says it also assisted a person following a fire in Broomall, Delaware County.
The total does not include the family of State Sen. Stewart Greenleaf, whose home in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, was destroyed in a pre-dawn blaze yesterday.
Those displaced by eight weekend fires in Philadelphia included members of nine families and one individual, the Red Cross said in a report this morning.
