Police have named the two latest homicide victims in Philadelphia.

Yesterday afternoon, George Greaves, 87, was gunned down in front of his home in the 7900 block of Pickering Avenue in the city's Cedarbrook section. The shooting was reported shortly before 4 p.m., and Greaves, who was shot in the chest, was pronounced dead at the scene after medics arrived. No motive or possible suspects were known as of this morning, a police spokeswoman said.

Tuesday night, a 20-year-old man was found shot in the chest near 15th Street and West Indiana Avenue in North Philadelphia. Jacob Wedgie lived in the unit block of Elm Street in Quakertown. He was found shortly before 9 p.m., and was pronounced dead at 9:08 p.m. at Temple University Hospital. Robbery may have been the motive.
