Old City car crash critically hurts pedestrian
Three pedestrians were injured, one critically, after a car collided with another vehicle, traveled onto a sidewalk, and hit them yesterday afternoon in Old City.
The accident occurred at Fourth and Arch Streets at 3:45 p.m., when one of the vehicles - it was unclear which - ran a red light, police said. The pedestrians were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, police said; the two with less serious injuries were in stable condition. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
No identities were available, and the investigation continued last night, police said.
