Police also arrested five people in the shooting death of Gerald Sawyer, 24, of Strawberry Mansion. He was shot in the right side of his head Friday on a playground at 29th Street and Chalmers Avenue in North Philadelphia, and pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m. at Temple University Hospital.

Four others were charged with murder and conspiracy: Tameca Rivera-Griffin, 34, of South Philadelphia; Semaj Lemar, 19, of Bridesburg; Fatima Moses, 26, of South Philadelphia; and Wayne Brown-Griffin, 21, of North Philadelphia.
Police were also searching for information in a Sunday morning shooting that killed Bernard Ray, 39, of Southwest Philadelphia. He was found shot once in the chest, in a blue Ford Windstar on the 3700 block of Delhi Street in Hunting Park.
His car had hit three parked cars on the block, and Ray was pronounced dead on scene. No arrest had been made in the case, and no motive was specified.
Anyone with any information on the case should call 215-686-TIPS, police said. There is a $20,000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction in the case.
