Woman's body found on golf course identified
Authorities have identified the woman whose body was found Monday morning on a Philadelphia golf course.
The body of Amanda McClintock, 20, of Northeast Philadelphia, was discovered by a golfer about 10:30 a.m. near the 14th hole of the Juniata Golf Course, authorities said.
The body was in a remote location near Fisher's Lane and Ramona Avenue in the Juniata Park section of the city, police said.
There were no obvious signs of trauma, authorities said.
Cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, said Jeff Moran, spokesman for the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office. - Barbara Boyer
