Philly city officials and social services cleared two homeless encampments along Kensington Avenue

The homeless residents along Kensington were offered assistance by the city with relocating.

The City of Philadelphia along with social services organizations worked together to move homeless campers from their tents on Kensington Avenue into shelters or back to their homes on Wednesday morning August 18, 2021. The city posted notices informing those living on the sidewalks along Kensington that this day was coming. Bin were provided to help them store their belongings.
