What I Do

I write stories and narratives about the outdoors and rural parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the trails, towns, and people far from city life.

My Background

Before joining The Inquirer, I spent seven years as a reporter at the Courier Post newspaper in Cherry Hill, N.J. I covered sports, criminal justice, features, and helped launch a young reader magazine there.

I am a graduate of Rutgers University, in Camden, where I studied English and journalism, and the University of Pennsylvania, where I obtained a master's degree in liberal arts. A lifelong Camden County resident, I have four children and a pit bull named Wanda. When I'm not looking for stories, I like to be outside, either hiking, camping, fishing, or running. Lately, I've been dabbling in yoga and meditation.
