Jersey Shore Jaw-dropper: $5.2 million in Brigantine
With pastel tones, glass brick walls and a build date of 1988, this palatial estate on the Atlantic evokes a soundtrack closer to Flock of Seagulls than the Great American Songbook. So we were floored to hear who once called the place home away from-home.
"Frank Sinatra stayed in this home when he performed in Atlantic City," said Realtor Gary Paul.
According to Paul, the old Sands Casino Hotel rented out the five-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bathroom home for Sinatra when he played there in the early '90s. "Sinatra left one of his toupees there, and the owner still has it," Paul shared.
In terms of square footage, the home is divided almost equally into indoor and outdoor living space: 5,900 inside and 6,000 in decking. The lot also includes 236 feet of oceanfront as well as a 40-by-18 foot inground pool.
Among its myriad amenities, the home also boasts Italian granite floors, fireplaces, a three-car garage and outside shower.
Thirty-five-foot windows offer unobstructed sights of the Atlantic City skyline and the home's southern exposure allows for tons of natural light.
"This is a one-of-a-kind home with dramatic views," Paul said.
Paul has co-listed the home with another Fox and Roach realtor, Hanya Dwyer, for $5.2 million.
"This is the most sought-after location on the island," said Paul.
