Delsea rolls to SJ Group 3 Title

Rob Hooks and Tyrone Saud each ran for two touchdowns as Delsea beat Northern Burlington 41-12 in the South Jersey Group 3 title game Saturday afternoon at Rowan University.

Hooks, a junior fullback, carried 26 times for 203 yards and scored on runs of seven and

five yards. Saud, a senior running back, carried 11 times for 118 yards and scored on runs of five and 34 yards as Delsea (11-1), the No. 4 team in The Inquirer Top 10, notched its 10th sectional title.

Senior quarterback Colin Fitzpatrick and junior running back Kenyatta Greene scored touchdowns for Northern Burlington (7-5).

Delsea's defense held NBC's running backs to a three yards on 13 carries as the Crusaders took a 21-6 lead at halftime.
