Prep's Speedy Morris earns win No. 950

Speedy Morris - a longtime figure in the Philadelphia basketball scene - earned his 950th career coaching win on Saturday afternoon with St. Joseph's Prep's 81-35 victory over visiting Christo Rey.

Jack Henkels led the Hawks with 30 points and seven rebounds. Chris Montie added eight rebounds and a pair of blocks. Chris Clover, a senior bound for St. Joseph's University, scored 10 points and dished out three assists.

Morris has been at the Prep since 2001. He previously coached the men's and women's teams at La Salle University and the boys' teams at Penn Charter and Roman Catholic.
