St. Joseph's rolled to its fourth straight championship, beating St. Mary's 36-0 n the Non-Public 1 title game at the College of New Jersey on Saturday.

The top-seeded Wildcats (10-1) defeated St. Mary's (11-1) in blowout fashion for the third straight season. St. Joseph's won the previous two games, 41-0 and 50-0. St. Joseph's has won 15 titles since the creation of the state playoffs for non-publics in 1993 and has never lost to St. Mary's.

St. Joe's quarterback Anthony Giagunto, who finishes his career 27-1 with three state titles, ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, including an 18-yarder to Miles Pease as time expired in the first half.

The Wildcats led 29-0 at the half.

Pease rushed for 198 yards on 12 carries.

St. Mary's running back Jonathan Diaz came into the game averaging 9.5 yards per carry, but St. Joe's held him to 17 yards on 10 carries in the first half. St. Joe's had two first-half interceptions, including one by Roy Lucas that he returned to the 1-yard line to set up a Wildcats touchdown.
