Worthem scores 1,000th point as MC&S rolls

Senior forward Jeremiah Worthem scored his 1,000th career point on Wednesday as Math, Civics & Sciences rolled over visiting World Communications, 86-38.

Worthem reached the milestone early in the fourth quarter on a driving layup through the middle. He finished with a game-high 22 points and 18 rebounds. He's ticketed for Robert Morris.

Shafeek Taylor chipped in with five points and six assists.

This season, the  Mighty Elephants have scored 241 points over their first three games.
