A second teenager was also wounded in the Monday night shooting on Plumtree Lane, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.

Prosecutors said Tuesday that three teenagers were on the home's front porch when someone opened fire on them from across the street at about 8 p.m.

One boy, identified as Ibn Perry, who lived at the residence, was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Another teen, also a 16-year-old boy, was struck in his ankle and taken to Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County for treatment. The third teenager wasn't harmed.
