Clean-up efforts are underway after a Nor'easter swept through the Philadelphia region Monday, hitting the New Jersey coast particularly hard and bringing strong winds and rain to the rest of the area.

Here are the latest updates on the storm, which killed a man who was struck by a wind-swept sign at a car sales lot in Philadelphia and brought flooding and 60-plus mph winds to New Jersey.

Forecast

A coastal flood warning remains in affect along the New Jersey and Delaware coasts until 11 a.m. Tuesday. Moderate street flooding is reported along the coast. Wind and waves are expected to cause significant beach erosion, the National Weather Service said.

Here's a scene from Ocean City his morning from CBS3's Jan Carabeo.

Further north, in Ocean County, the beach was hammered.

Wind speeds will decrease throughout the day, though gusts of above 30 mph will continue to be possible along the coast. Some rain showers are also likely during the day, but significant rainfall is not forecasted.

Rainfall totals included less than an inch in Philadelphia and close to 3 inches in Ocean County. Other measurements included 1.89 inches in Atlantic City; 2.12 inches in Whitesbog, Burlginton County; 1.38 inches in Langhorne, Bucks County; 0.93 of an inch in Pottstown, Montgomery County; and 1.05 inches in Wynecote, Montgomery County.

Transportation

NJ Transit service on the Atlantic City Rail Line remains suspended in both directions between Philadelphia's 30th Street Station and Cherry Hill because the bridge over the Delaware is stuck in the up position. Substitute busing is in place, and PATCO is accepting NJ Transit tickets and passes. PATCO riders can connect with the AC line in Lindenwold.

Flooded roadways are also being reported. Updated information on the flooding on major routes and resulting road or lane closures is at 511nj.org.

Philadelphia International Airport, which was frequently under ground stops on Monday, said some delays and cancellations were reported and travelers should check with their airlines.

Wire issues were causing delays for Regional Rail riders on SEPTA.

Schools

Some New Jersey districts are opening late. A full list from NBC Philadelphia is here.

Utilities

Winds knocked down trees and power lines during the storm, but the bulk of the outages were resolved by Tuesday morning. For PSE&G, PECO and Atlantic City Electric, about 2,500 customers combined lacked power.
