Male shot to death in Northeast Philadelphia

An unidentified male was found shot to death in a rear alley in Northeast Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, police said.

About 1 p.m., police found the victim, who was shot twice in his back, near the 900 block of Sanger Street in Summerdale. Police rushed him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:15 p.m.

Police reported no arrest. No weapon was recovered.
