Pregnant woman shot in stomach with BB gun

A 24-year-old pregnant woman was shot once in the stomach Wednesday afternoon in North Philadelphia, police said.

The woman, who is five months pregnant, was shot outside on North 19th Street near Norris, about 2:10 p.m., by someone armed with a BB gun, police said.

She was taken by medics to Hahnemann University Hospital.  Police did not immediately know her condition. They said no arrest has been made.
