S. Jersey man, 22, shot dead in Burlington City

A 22-year-old Burlington Township man was shot to death Friday in Burlington City, and authorities are seeking the public's help in finding the gunman.

Howard G. Young Jr. was fatally shot in the 100 block of East Federal Street about 4:45 p.m. Friday, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and Burlington City Police said Saturday in a joint statement.

Young was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he was pronounced dead Friday night.
