Speedy Morris going for 700th high school win

William "Speedy" Morris can notch his 700th high school victory when St. Joseph's Prep plays St. Georges Technical (Del.) at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 12th annual Pete and Jameer Nelson Classic at Widener.

Morris, who is in his 16th season at the Prep, also coached at Roman Catholic and Penn Charter. His career high school record is 699-199 (.778 winning percentage).
