Blue2O in Cherry Hill closes
Blue2O was an anomaly. Though it had a chain feel, it was a one-off restaurant owned by Quality Dining Inc., an Indiana company that owns dozens of Chili's and Burger King restaurant franchises.
Aug. 2 was the finale for Blue2O, an upscale-casual seafooder that opened in October 2008 on Route 70 at Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill.

It shared a building, parking lot, and liquor license with a Chili's next door, which remains. (Chili's and another brand, Porterhouse, had been open on the same site but were destroyed by fire in 2007.)
QDI president John C. Firth said the company plans to look for a tenant for the space, which may or may not be another restaurant.
