Mistral sets opening date for King of Prussia

And here is the menu.

The reservation book is open at Mistral KOP, the sibling restaurant to the celebrated, upscale/casual Princeton bistro, whose first day of service at the King of Prussia Mall will be March 1.

Owners Stephen Distler and chef Scott Anderson - who also own elements in Princeton - say the new Mistral will be similar to the original: chef-driven, fast-paced shared-plates service and hyperlocally sourced ingredients.

Even though Princeton and Montgomery County are not terribly far apart, Anderson says, the menus on any given night will be different becaused of availability.

Mistral KOP will seat 111 people, including 18 at the seat bar and, weather permitting, 48 outdoors.

Chef Craig Polignano will run the show at King of Prussia. Here's an interview from December to explain.

Menu is set up with sandwiches, snacks, small and large plates.
