TALK is the name of the Marigold Kitchen spin-off restaurant
TALK will offer an eclectic new-American a la carte menu, unlike Marigold's tasting menus.
Andrew Kochan and Tim Lanza have scrambled their initials to coin the name of Kochan's forthcoming restaurant at 2121 Walnut St.
TALK will open in the space of the former L'Image Photography Studios. Lanza, Kochan's partner at West Philly's Marigold Kitchen, will be the executive chef of TALK, while Keith Krajewski will remain at Marigold Kitchen as executive chef.
TALK will offer an eclectic new-American a la carte menu, unlike Marigold's tasting menus.
Kochan's rep says TALK will have the look and feel of an early 20th-century hotel bar, as it will reflect the building's Gothic facade, which is being refurbished. Black hardwood floors and wooden tables will contrast against a white marble bar with old-world comfortable seats and barstools.
The dining room will seat about 55 with 15 seats at the bar.
Kochan hopes for a July 1 opening.
