Angela and Franco Iovino, who own Girasole in Atlantic City (and had a long-running branch in two Center City locations), are behind Angelina's, a wallet-friendly, white-tablecloth Southern Italian BYOB opening Thursday, Aug. 17 at 743 S. Eighth St. (215-922-1349).

You have to pass Angela Iovino's snug kitchen, located in the front window, to settle into one of the 24 seats in the comfy spot at the corner of Eighth and Clymer Streets in Bella Vista.

Antipasti range from $8 for meatballs to $15 for grilled octopus. Pastas are $17 and $18. Second courses range from $19 for salmon with leeks and balsamic to $29 for the signature veal chop Milanese.
