On Aug. 23, the Please Touch Museum is resurrecting its popular Star Wars Day, featuring an operating R2D2 unit, a character meet and greet, Star Wars costumes and crafts, and a dance party.

For added clarification, the museum specified on its Facebook event page that the Star Wars Day was exclusively for children and their families. Thus far 7,000 users have RSVP'd to the event.

According to comments left on the museum's event update, it's a good thing that distinction was made, as many adult fans expressed disappointment that a children's museum would hold an event exclusively for children.

Still, there were very many (likely, those lucky ones with kids) who understand that the Please Touch Museum is a children's venue and capacity constraints may limit the museum's ability to accommodate everyone.
