Nancy Pokorny has been appointed director of nursing excellence at Einstein Healthcare Network. Pokorny joined Einstein in 1973 as a direct-care nurse in the emergency unit and subsequently held positions as assistant nurse manager, coordinator, and nurse recruiter. In 2011, she served as an interim co-director of nursing at Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment, and most recently served as nursing career specialist.

LevLane Advertising/PR/Interactive, Philadelphia, has hired David Huehnergarth as senior vice president/director of client engagement, and Michael Wood as senior vice president/director of public relations. Huehnergarth had been senior vice president for strategy with McCann Group in New York. Wood had been senior manager, corporate communications, for NRG Energy.

COFCO, a Philadelphia office furniture company, has named Dean Molz vice president of business development. He had been vice president of business interiors at Office Basics.

Paul Smith, associate director and conductor of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, has been named director of Tune Up Philly, an after-school musical-education initiative providing a training program for underserved city neighborhoods in eight sites throughout Philadelphia.
