Gasoline, diesel prices still on the rise
Gasoline prices continued their upward climb over the weekend in the region and nationally, and diesel hit a new record price of $3.76 per gallon in southeastern Pennsylvania, the AAA Mid-Atlantic auto club said today.

Gasoline rose 3 cents a gallon on average in South Jersey, to $2.94 - that's up 13 cents in a week. The Philadelphia price was up 2 cents over the weekend, to $3.12 per gallon - up 10 cents from a week ago, AAA said.
Diesel in South Jersey was also at a record - $3.49 per gallon on average.
The national average for gasoline was up 2 cents since Friday, to $3.14 - its highest this year.
