Come hear from finalists to run Philly schools

The two finalists for district superintendent will be announced Friday by the School Reform Commission's Superintendent Search Team and they will be ready to meet the public next week at two community forums, district officials said Thursday.

The two finalists for district superintendent will be announced Friday by the School Reform Commission's Superintendent Search Team and they will be ready to meet the public next week at two community forums, district officials said Thursday.

Pedro Martinez, now a deputy superintendent in the Clark County, Nevada, school district, will be introduced to the public Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the district's auditorium, on Broad Street near Spring Garden.

William Hite Jr., now superintendent of the Prince George's County, Maryland, school district will be introduced to the public Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

The district encourages the school community at-large to attend.
