Man, 57, slain overnight; earlier victim, 16, named

Police this morning also named a 16-year-old boy gunned down early Saturday in the city's Strawberry Mansion section.
The man was killed by a bullet that went through his right arm into his chest shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of Dennie Avenue, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Einstein Medical Center at 12:59 a.m. His name was being held pending notificiation of kin.
No motive was known, and no suspects were in custody.
The teenager was Hakim Nicholas of the 2400 block of North Hollywood Street, according to police.
He was reportedly shot in the face and back a block away, near 30th and Cumberland Streets. He died at Temple University Hospital about 3 a.m. Saturday.
No one was in custody in the case, and the motive was unknown, police said.
