Man's body found in Galloway Township

Galloway Township Police are investigating after a man was found dead on a township roadside early Sunday morning.

Police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Major Crimes Unit responded to a 9-1-1 call at Great Creek Road at 7:20 a.m., and found the man dead on the scene, according to a statement from the prosecutor's office.

The man's identity was not released.
