Police identify two victims of fatal shootings

Police on Tuesday released the names of two men slain Monday in shootings in different parts of the city. Larry Vann, 29, was shot in the face and killed about 9:40 a.m. on the 1200 block of West Venango Street in North Philadelphia. Dominic Young, 22, was shot in the back of the head on the 2100 block of South Gould Street in Southwest Philadelphia sometime after midnight and pronounced dead on the scene at 12:32 a.m. - Inquirer staff
