Bristol borough woman killed in early-morning domestic dispute, sources say

Law enforcement sources said a woman was found dead inside a home on Wood Street early Thursday.

Bristol Borough Police and Bucks County Detectives are investigating a homicide that took place early Thursday.

Officers were called to a residence on Wood Street around 6:30 a.m. for what law enforcement sources described as a domestic incident.

A woman inside was reported dead at the scene, and one suspect is in custody, said the sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the ongoing investigation.

Bristol Borough Police officials said there is no danger to the public.
