David Lemmon, 45, of Clifton Heights, was assigned to the State Correctional Institution at Chester.

A 45-year-old state correctional officer in Delaware County has been charged with numerous counts related to possessing and sharing child pornography, court records show.
David Lemmon, 45, of Clifton Heights, was charged with more than 100 counts related to possessing and sharing child pornography, according to court documents. Bail was set at 10% of $100,000, which he posted on Monday.
His lawyer, Olivia Leigh Mastrangelo, declined to comment on the case Friday.
Maria A. Bivens, press secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, said Lemmon has not reported for work since his Aug. 10 arrest.
“The Department is taking appropriate administrative action, including moving to suspend his employment, in accordance with the Department’s policy and the Governor’s Code of Conduct,” Bivens said in an email.
The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office could not be reached for comment.
Lemmon was assigned at the State Correctional Institution at Chester.
The criminal investigation began with a tip from the social media app, Snapchat, NBC10 reported. Investigators questioned Lemmon at the Chester prison in June and confiscated his phone. They also searched through devices found at his home.
