Philadelphia woman charged with homicide after police find a man stabbed to death in her closet
Marianne Wright, 34, is charged in the death of Dorakoma Lim, 37.

A woman has been charged with homicide after police say they discovered a man’s body inside a closet in her East Germantown apartment last week.
Marianne Wright, 34, is also charged with abuse of a corpse and possessing an instrument of crime and is being held in jail without bail.
Officer Tanya Little, a police spokesperson, said officers were called Thursday evening to a third-floor apartment on the 600 block of East Chelten Avenue. There, she said, the officers found the body of Dorakoma Lim, 37. He had been stabbed multiple times, she said.
Officers arrested Wright on Friday, court records show.
Lim lived in the Olney neighborhood, Little said. She declined to provide additional details, including whether Wright and Lim knew one another.
Wright is being represented by the Defender Association of Philadelphia. Its spokesperson, George Jackson, declined to comment on the case Wednesday morning.
Attempts to reach Lim’s family Wednesday morning were unsuccessful.
