New films: ‘Disenchanted,’ a celebrity chef & meals with a violent twist, a country wedding

‘Disenchanted’
This sequel to 2007′s Enchanted sees the return of Amy Adams (as Giselle), Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel, and the Andalasians are still giddily breaking into song every chance they get. This time Giselle is questioning her happily ever after and no good can come of that in a Disney romcom. Directed by Adam Shankman. Songs by the Enchanted duo of Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked). (Rated PG. Premieres Friday, Nov. 18, on Disney+.)

Comedy-thriller with a few teaspoons of social commentary.
