Frontier Airlines launches flights from Philly to Florida

Frontier Airlines announced Friday a one-day fare sale for Friday to celebrate the launch of new nonstop flights from Philadelphia International Airport to Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Fla. that start on Saturday.

Frontier Airlines announced Friday a one-day fare sale for Friday to celebrate the launch of new nonstop flights from Philadelphia International Airport to Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Fla. that start on Saturday.

The Denver-based airline said fares as low as $39 one-way are available to Tampa and as low as $59 one-way to Miami and Orlando, via FlyFrontier.com.

On Sunday, Frontier will begin flights from Philadelphia to Cancun, Mexico for Apple Vacations in Newtown Square. Frontier also sells seats on the Cancun flight to the public.

The fare sale, which is available Friday and limited to certain days and flights, must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Dec. 19 for travel Jan. 20 through Feb. 10.

Frontier announced it plans to fly to Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., and Chicago from Philadelphia in the spring. The dates have not been announced.
