Variety show looking for talent
Karen Rossi is putting on a show, and she's looking for a magician, maybe one who can pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Rossi is a scheduler for the Avon Grove Community Theater, which will hold auditions Friday and Saturday for the group's annual variety show, to be held Jan. 4.
Rossi already has two opera singers, two bands and a gymnast lined up, among other acts.
"You never know who's going to show up," she says. Kazoo players and stand-up comics are also welcome.
The little theater group puts on the variety show - this will be the third edition - to raise money for the plays it puts on at other times of the year. The group asks for $5 donations for the show. Last year's edition had 23 acts and lasted about three hours.
The auditions this week will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kemblesville United Methodist Church, 1772 New London Rd., Landenberg. No appointment is necessary for the auditions.
For more information, call 610-255-1634. The variety show will take place at 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at Avon Grove Intermediate School, 395 S. Jennersville Rd., West Grove.
