After Philadelphia Police Officer Robert Wilson III was fatally shot during an attempted robbery in North Philadelphia on Thursday, many of his colleagues posted memorials to slain the officer on social media.

Others in the Philadelphia Police Department recalled the eight-year veteran's smile and passion for motorcycles. Wilson's colleagues also described the pain of losing a fellow officer and asked for prayers for the 30-year-old's two young children.
