Dennis J. Cogan, former State Sen. Vincent J. Fumo's lead defense lawyer, is expected to make his closing argument today in the Philadelphia politician's federal corruption trial.
The marathon trial was postponed yesterday because of the weather.
Jury deliberations are expected to finally get underway this week - possibly tomorrow.
After Cogan's summation, Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert A. Zauzmer will deliver his rebuttal argument and then U.S. District Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter will give his final instructions to the jury.
