An NJ Transit bus struck and killed a 50-year-old man in Philadelphia on Sunday night.
The man, who has not been identified, was hit at Independence Mall and Arch Street around 5:50 p.m., just steps from the National Constitution Center and other tourist destinations in Center City.
A Philadelphia Fire Department medic unit pronounced the man dead on the scene at 5:55 p.m. The Crash Investigation Division is leading the investigation.
NJ Transit declined to comment as the incident is under investigation.
